A mere contribution of at least Rs. 1000 (INR) will help a type-one diabetic child afford and access life-giving insulin for an entire month. Every donation makes a tremendous difference! T1 diabetic children in India do not have the access to quality healthcare and sufficient resources like glucose monitors, insulin cartridges, insulin pens and CGMs. An average type-one diabetic spends over 20,000 Indian National Rupees on their diabetes every single year. From purchasing insulin, syringes, lancets to diagnostic tests and transport; 20,000 rupees is an inconceivable amount to spend for presumably a daily income worker. Let alone affordability of the essential resources, their mental health is ever deteriorating. From not being able to afford a refrigerator to store life-giving insulin, to missing school due to lack of awareness; the underprivileged T1 diabetics are facing various problems.
